JustMarkets Review

Our Take on JustMarkets

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus, JustMarkets is a global derivatives broker that offers over 260 tradable instruments, including CFDs on currency pairs, commodities, shares, indices, and cryptocurrencies.

JustMarkets supports both MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 and offers diverse account types with low minimum deposits and affordable fees on popular share CFDs, forex pairs, and commodities.

I found JustMarkets to be an excellent choice for those interested in copy trading, as the broker does not charge an extra fee for this service. Additionally, JustMarkets delivers fast order execution speeds, making it ideal for high-precision trading.

However, JustMarkets’ research and educational content are somewhat limited, and the broker lacks a variety of trading platforms.

Is JustMarkets Right for You?

When reviewing a broker, we assess if it suits different trading strategies. To achieve this, we evaluate the availability of the necessary features and tools available. Here’s our verdict about JustMarkets:

Casual Trading: Perfect Match

JustMarkets is a great choice for casual traders because it has low deposit requirements, competitive fees, and platforms that accommodate easy order execution. The broker also achieves fast execution speeds and provides highly informative daily market breakdowns.

Social and Copy Trading: Perfect Match

Copy trading is available on MT4. The broker allows signal providers and signal followers to interact with each other. JustMarkets does not charge a servicing fee for copy trading.

The overnight charges I recorded with JustMarkets were quite elevated. Furthermore, the broker does not incorporate any third-party research content (e.g., Autochartist or Trading Central) for nuance. Lastly, JustMarkets does not offer any lower-risk securities, such as ETFs or bonds, which are typically used to manage changes in volatility over the medium and long term.

Day Trading: Acceptable Choice

JustMarkets incorporates MT4 and MT5, which are good options for day traders because they accommodate basic technical analysis and easy order execution. The broker also offers competitive trading fees for some popular instruments on its Pro and Raw accounts. However,  JustMarkets lacks an alternative to MetaTrader.

Scalping: Acceptable Choice

I recorded JustMarkets’ average execution speed at around 52 milliseconds, which is better than the industry average. Furthermore, MetaTrader supports one-click trading. It would be a great advantage if the broker added free Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting for low-latency trading.

News Trading: Acceptable Choice

JustMarkets partners with 7 liquidity providers, offering deep liquidity and quick order execution. This is crucial for news trading, where poor liquidity is often the biggest risk. However, the absence of free VPS hosting for stable connectivity is a drawback.

Automated Trading: Acceptable Choice

MT4 and MT5 accommodate automated trading via Expert Advisors (EAs). The two platforms also have built-in strategy testers so that traders can test and hone the parameters of their trading algorithms. However, the lack of free VPS hosting prevented JustMarkets from scoring higher.

The broker does not offer any real stocks.

What Sets JustMarkets Apart?

JustMarkets does not charge a servicing fee for copy trading, making it one of the top choices for this type of trading. The only costs for copy traders are the spread and possibly a volume-based commission, depending on the account type. These costs are generally lower than the industry average.

The broker also stands out with its maximum retail leverage of 1:3000. It is available to trading accounts with less than $1000 balance.
